Anne's birthday at SAF chalet
Yesterday at SAF change chalet. We really had so much fun with all the self-timer shoots!
There's too many cant-be-shown online photos. Hahahaa!! These are the limits!
I went to watch The Prestige over the weekend. Personal rating 7/10. I didn't expect the movie to be so long but the exciting storyline keeps me awake. Personally, I only don't like the part where they killed the birds.

The Long Weekend
Thursday Morning
530am
I woke up for a quick shower and a light makeup and head towards Shawn’s house with Mel.
745am
We set off to Gloria’s house. Drink the horrible drink in order for the sisters to open up the gate. Easy task followed by a brother knocked it down 10 times. The whole process took only about 8mintues for the sisters open the gate. Super easy! 9am
Back to Shawn's house for the custom. 1030am
Back to Gloria's house and buffet.
12pm
I went back home to shower and take a quick nap before going to Marriot.
3pm
Reached Marriot. Tea time.
4pm
I do my masque and we go up to the couple's suite.
5pm
Shawn bought a birthday cake for Gloria. We eat again.
530pm
We go to the ballroom for rehearsal and get to view the montage of the morning photoshoot. The photographer gets all the praise! Great shoots and really nice capture of all the expression from everyone!
615pm
I went back to the room to do my makeup and dressup.
7pm
My duty as the hongbao girl sitting at the reception.
815pm
Ready for the couple to march in and dinner starts.
11pm
Back to the room.
1130pm
To the couple’s suite to count the hongbao.
1230am
Totally knock out!

There's not much photos as I'm too busy the whole day. Shawn will pass us the photos when he gets the cd.

Friday morning, I showered and went to scotts for breakfast. Its day time and I'm wearing t-shirt with shorts and slippers and my half-dried hair walking around at Orchard. Hehee...

The Fly which Killed My Day
You all couldn’t believe what I just saw. In the office here, there are too many houseflies flying around. I can’t help saying that it’s too disgusting and it’s unhygienic for so many flies around in the enclosed area. Just as they hit the flies with rubber bands over the past few weeks, I witnessed so many died and dropped on the carpet of the floor.
What just happened here? I saw a super big one and I just screamed as it appeared. I hide away and called for help. (I know I sounded the extreme, but I’m terrified of insects ok) I asked Michael to hit it and passed him rubber bands. The 1st shoot sends it to the other side of the cupboard, and only the 2nd attempt, managed to hit it down on the floor. It’s really a big one! That’s why it looks super horror to me.
As I thought everything is ok, Michael swaps up the dead fly with a piece of white paper and tell me that there’s a lot of maggots. I was still wondering if he’s kidding me anot. I went over to see and hold my breadth, griping my nose and mouth tight. What the….. There’s really maggots start crawling out of the body! It’s a lot! Many many many maggots! Shit! I can’t believe that the fly with its small body can have so many maggots in it!
Michael brought it out to burn the whole thing off. I should have taken a photo first but seriously, it’s too disgusted to even take another second look.

The Girls Night
The girls to a birthday dinner meet up on Sunday. Jing met me earlier and we took a few pics at Raffles Place and Esplanade...

One of my favourite pieces.

Self-timer shoots...We settled down for our steamboat dinner at Bugis. Babe and I did an express pedicure after dinner, as I need to change the colours for Shawn's wedding this Thursday.
Guess who we met along the way? Hahaa...

2010
I love everyone around me. All the wishes I'd received keep me happy. I just want a simple cake and dinner for my birhtday. So, here's my simple cake. My present from Tas. Handmade present... I shall not reveal what's inside.
My birthday itself, is just treating myself as a princess for a 3 hours facial and to the hair saloon for hair washing service. I've craving for chicken chop so that's what I'd for dinner.

Saturday, Tas picked me up to meet Shawn and Miss Joey for lunch at Sakura.
They did a little celebration for me at Miss Joey's house. Aww... so sweet! I'd picked the 4 numbers after cutting my cake.
In the evening, we went to pick Gloria and went to Vivocity. It's crazy that so many people are in the shopping mall! My leg still hurts that they went to buy dinner for me. Everyone of us was having our Mcdonalds like we're still in our teens. Hahaa... We watched the Death Note. Just as I thought that the Japanese movie will be disappointing, we still carry on with this manga show. It's a total fantasy in the show as by writing names in the notebook, the person will dies. It's something different from the rest of the Japanese movies I'd watched. It's a battle between 2 geniuses and the storyline always give the unexpected to the audience. 7.5/10 for this movie!
I'm going to meet my gfs soon! They make time out for my little birthday. Hehhee... Muackz!

Mixed Feelings
I'll be leaving my temporary job. My character really doesn't suit the routine style at all. The month just passed like this. I can't bear to leave at this moment now. It's only about 20days and I've clicked with them so well. Cynthia and Cecilia shared with me about pregnancy and shopping. Michael shared with us about palm-reading. Nancy talks about shopping and foods, Ziying just got her wedding photos taken and it influences the rest to bring their wedding portfolio and family folio to office. I always stayed long with a company, not because of the job (of course) but the people and environment.
I feel like Cynthia is like a big sister to me as she taught me a lot of things and shared her experiences with me. Although we only know each other for 4 weeks, but she showed lots of concern and advice me on things.
I happily shared my body toning secrets and my little knowledge on human body check for them. I feel kinda sad now as I'm leaving this group.
Another sad thing...
This Friday is my birthday! This means 1 year older! Ermmmm... where are my presents?

Vivocity and Silk
I was at Vivocity on Wednesday with Tas. We had our lunch at Carls Junior as the food courts were not open yet. Edwin treated us with extra fries and milk shake. The mall is really big. The scene – quite nice.
I'd a fall at the steps of stairs. Lucky Tas managed to grab me as I lose my balance, or not, I'll roll down the spiral stairs all the way. Tas said that I would be on newspaper for falling down at Vivocity. Hahhaa... Just a little cut on my knees.

And this is the snowman in Singapore. I'm really unlucky enough as I got cut by the office chair. This time, it's at my ankle. It bleeds a lot. Now, it's still painful for the wound at the ankle keeps tearing as I walk. Sob Sob...
Kenny and I met on Friday for dinner and movie. Lucky that he says he'll pick me up as I hurt my leg. We'd Teppan for dinner and watched the movie – Silk. We chose over the Death Note and Silk, but I'm slowly losing interest in Japanese horror movies as I'm always disappointed. Silk is nice as the storyline makes sense and the graphics are not too bad. Personal rating – 7.8/10.

Bangkok Day 4 and 5
Day 4
We didn't have our breakfast in the morning and go straight to the four faces Buddha to meet up with the rest. Isn't my shirt lovely? Laura loves me, that's why she bought the t-shirt for me from Perth. So sweet! ^_^
Coincidently, Babe and Jing went to Perth and bought the Fremantle instead.
We had our lunch at the Fuji.
My nicely done nails art! It's super cheap lor! It cost $4 to $10 for ONE finger nail in Singapore ok! If I chose the $6 design, which means $60 for one set to be done?? I paid only S$12 for these at BKK and its really beautiful arts and they can finish the 10 fingers in 20minutes. All the flowers are nicely drawn and no redo or retouch at all. The guys thought that the flowers are stickers. Hehehe...I love the arts very very much!

The Doughnuts are so sweet and nice that we went to buy again. Nice box!

Babe brought us to Once Upon A Time for dinner. Nice place, it looks scary.
Happy Nat! It's show time! Thanks to Mel again, and we got half price from the massage boss for watching the show.
They're prettier than me. Hmph...
This is the star of the night!
We end our night with Thai massage.
It's already SG time 230am, when Mel and I reach back the Condo is about 3am and we started to clean the floor, wash the bathrooms and pack our bags. All these packing and cleaning ends at SG time 5am! Mel and I decided to go back to Platinum the next morning as we didn't get to shop the rest of the levels the other day. It's our last day; we didn't want to waste it.

Day 5
We woke up at SG time 10am. We have our breakfast and ready to go shopping! It's a must go for my next BKK trip with Miss Joey, Shawn, Gloria and friends. It's really fashion and nice clothes and most importantly – good price!
Too many varieties of shoes, dress, skirts, shorts, bags, accessories for me to chose! Love it!

Back to the Condo, waiting for Babe, Jing, Yuan and Nat to put the luggage.

Yuan brought us to eat at the BBQ Plaza for lunch.
Special right? Better than S**** G*****. Back to the Condo and ready to go...The airport... (told u looks like HK airport) hhehee...The people are so friendly and courtesy that the guys show so much gentlemen style. While we were taking the train, the guys will offer their seats to the girls. Even a high school girl! I'm so impressed!
Back here in SGP, don't even mention about girls, any pregnant ladies or senior citizen who walk in to our train, will only put everyone to sleep. We have magical powers ba.

Anyway, I'm missing everything there, the food, the shopping, (esp.) the nails art, the massage, the shows.... I'm glad that Mel knows the basic Thai, good enough to get us to the location as he knows some of the roads and even the road names, food for us and also the friendliness when asking for discount while shopping! So much fun and laughter as we eat and shop around.

Thanks to Yuan, we get a new recommendation at the BBQ plaza, Babe for the Once Upon A Time and Nat for having us to eat Spring Roll as dessert for every meal! Hehhee... and ya, Jing, she gave us her first time........... Her first time to Bangkok! A trip I will never forget as it's the first overseas trip I go with my girls!

Till my next BKK trip... with Miss Joey, Shawn, Gloria and friends.... *blink*

Bangkok Day 2 and 3
Day 2
Our breakfast...
Few pictures in the Condo... (a year ago... and now)Our lunch at Fuji and bought Dunkin Donuts for our tea later…We head towards the government house to take photos with the tanks. ^_^As Tas and I wait for the rest of the group to arrive, we walk around MBK again to shop and rest for a drink at a food court. Tas photography skill –
At about 8pm, we reached the hotel to meet up with them and we were all so hungry. There's no cab want to take us to Chinatown as it's drizzling plus the heavy traffic so we took the tuk tuk. Oh my! I screamed throughout the journey!
The food looks dull in the photo but it's so delicious especially the shark fins!
Bird nest...
Jill and Yuan suggested going to Suan Lum Night Bazaar and we took the fiery wheels.
Tas fantastic photography shoot – After walking around, we got ourselves a new dress. As it's their first night, we decided to rest and relax at the Condo so we bought food and drinks up. We took a few pictures while the guys fall asleep outside in the living room. Hehhee..

Our new skirts...They only stayed about an hour and have to go back to the hotel as everyone is too tired. It’s already SG 330am!

Day 3
We have our lunch at MK... yummy!
Today is Chatuchak weekend market day!
The usual hot and sticky day with lots of shopping done.

Its too tiring and my leg ache! We went to do the Thai massage. Lucky Tas have contacts there and we got the massage for half price! Tas and I have a leg massage first as waiting for the rest of them as they got stuck in the traffic.
It's a little blurr but I love the colours of the room. Our Thai massage...
We went back to Patpong after the massage. We watched the tiger show which Tas and I feel boring to watch it the second time. Tas and I had a little argument as we got unhappy over some little thing. He's like not being appreciated for things being arrange, yet I still throw temper to him. I forgot guys can be fragile sometimes. We got okay after returning to the Condo when we were about to sleep. Yawnz....
I gotta rush out now so... to be continued...

Tiring + Exciting
It's another tiring day. Tas came over at 1230pm to pick me up. I was happily dressed up with the new colourful dress but just as we were about to go, I realised that the dress was tore at the waist area! I'm determined to do something about it! I had put back my 3kgs as all people around me say I look too thin when I go back to my 40kg. I must go back to my 24" waist!
We want to take a look at The Premiere (the new DBSS flat at Tampines) but it was such long queue as they were queuing for condo.

It's crazy so we decided to go to Compass Point straight to have our lunch before attending the Church wedding. We met Elvin at the carpark and he's going to send his friend home. As we got to level one, Elvin called that he met an accident just at the junction infront of the police station. We rushed over and to find that the car bonnet is greatly damaged. As Tas was talking with the other party and Elvin. The friend tells me that as she go over to the police station to tell the police that there’s an accident at the junction, the police immediate reply: ‘Are there any damages to the government properties?’ What the..... Can't he ask that question after showing concern if there's anyone injured anot??!?! Lucky both Mel's friends are ok and the other party too, they settled everything and lucky for the honesty of the other party, he admitted that he's at fault and willing to take up all responsibility. Tas and I went back to the mall and we have to rush off to the church.
I'm too hungry and feel like puking for not eating then. I took a few pictures of these 2 cute little boys.

After an hour plus of ceremony, we get to eat at the reception. We rushed off to the Zoo for another wedding after giving some energy to our body. We walked around the zoo to visit the penguins, the zebras, the rino and the giraffe after signing the guest book. At the restaurant (buffet style)...The newly wed reached the entrance by taking the carriage. So nice! But the horses aren't white. Hehee..
After the bride changed to her evening dress, they came in by cycling... tian mi mi...The door gift...
What an exciting day! Although it's tiring to go so many places but I enjoyed it. It's my first time attending a church wedding and wedding at the zoo.
Jing and I went to Club Momo on Wednesday and took part in a contest. Voting starts from today to 11 Oct at onezine. Drop by if you're free, it seems that I can't get into the page at all as it seems like it takes forever to load. Support lah... Thank u!

Bangkok Day 1
I woke up 830 in the morning to prepare myself and Mel meet me at 945am to pick me up to the airport. It's my first time to the budget terminal. We had breakfast at Han's café. Nice menu.

This is how the budget airport looks like. This is the view of the new airport from the plane! The new BKK airport! The outlook looks like HK airport.
It's the first day of the new airport; it's totally madness in there. We waited for our luggage for more than 30mintues as it's sharing the same belt as another plane. We have to wait for the previous flight bags to clear. The minute we stepped out of the arrival, there are so many people crowding around that I can hardly make my way out. The taxi stand is even worse. The queue is all the way at the escalator. I can say you have to wait for at least an hour to get a cab. We get our cab at other area which we get to leave the airport immediately. Hehehe...

I was starving through the whole journey. We didn't expect the long wait at the airport. We finally reached the Condo at SG time 5pm. We rushed to MK for lunch after putting our bags.

Back to the Condo and ready to go...At Siam Paragon... We shop around and Mel got himself a t-shirt and a pair of comfortable soft slipper. I passed by a shop at MBK with very nice evening wear and we have to come back the next day as the shops are closing.

With the soldiers! They're super friendly!

Our late dinner – Mango with sticky rice.

That's all for the day 1. To be continued...
